I have been talking to a guy from a few weeks now and the conversation leads towards a flirtatious note mostly. This is after 9 months of my terrible break up. I like talking to him, perhaps I like the attention, but I also get lots of anxiety since I have been talking to him. I see the possible glimpses of what things have happened and how they can happen again. I am somehow afraid of this new person. I’m not looking for a solution, perhaps we’ll not even talk in a few days. I just had to let it out.
I know you just had to let it out but I want to say this, don’t keep expectations or expect anything from this and you’ll be good to go.
I’m not really expecting good stuff. I am just really afraid for the bad. I feel like running away. Cancelling all conversations. My conscious sees him and a lot of people as potential threats. I am just scared.
Then you should do whatever you feel like. Give time to yourself. And If the conversation turns flirty at some point, there’s a chance that the guy can catch feelings for you. Make yourself stronger and better and anyways focusing on yourself can heal some things.
