I have always been a very sensitive person so I get attached to people very soon and very easily. I feel the need to save everyone even when they don’t need to be saved. And often times I spread myself too thin to help people who aren’t there when I need them. I am amazed to see people feel entitled to moral support and comfort in the hour of need, while failing to provide the same when I require it. It took me a long time to start taking my own decisions based on how I would feel about them as opposed to how the other person would feel about it.
I feel the same way, it’s like my friends just use me as per their convenience. Not just friends but everyone, in general is so selfish these days. I feel like I’m always giving, giving, giving and I don’t know if they even notice it or appreciate all the times I’ve looked out for them.

It just tells that you’re a good person and they definitely don’t deserve you. I’m, anyway, glad to read that you finally take decisions as per you want. Yessss, neverforgetyourdreams. I think you completely get what it has been like for me. I will say that there are a few friends who have been with me in my time of need and I am grateful for them. The rest just come and go.
