I hate my parents…they never listen to my opinions or my feelings, and are very controlling… they never let me do what I want or even speak or express my opinions …they mock me and they killed all of my dreams, my passion . They only care about themselves. They never spent any time with me and they always compare me to my sibling and everybody else… I hate them… I really do… whenever I try to do something for myself, my future, I feel guilty, I feel worthless, useless
Please remember you are not alone. we all have been there. Just never think of yourself as any less than what you imagine yourself to be. It sucks but be determined to do what you want to. In this society, the comparison and mocking by either parents or distant family members is a common thing to happen. but what you do to break those barriers and make the best of your choices is what is important. Once you reach for the stars and do what makes you happy is when you will definitely notice change around you as well. <3
I can’t tell if your parents really don’t care about you or not, but just remember one thing: parents always do anything they thing it’s best for their children. Maybe you see that they just do it on their own way, they don’t care about you at all but have you calm down and see if everything they forced you to do are really useless or not? Just think about it objectively. Then if you see they do it because they really care about you a lot just that they express it in a wrong way, be sympathize with them. It’s just generation’s gap. Try to make they understand that you will be OK even you follow your dream, little by little you and your parents will understand each other.
