I dont understand why people’s first choice is to keep a women caged when talking about women’s safety. This simply shows that we are not trying to resolve the problem but adjusting ourselves to live with those problems.

this can be such a tricky situation. on the one hand maybe choosing to stay safe by adopting certain methods is just to ensure one’s safety while it is also equally important to flout those norms to prove a point because if there is any progress that has come out of this world, it is because of the people who put up protests, who put themselves in danger for the greater good. so i guess, my salute to those who continue to choose the modern reformer lifestyle.
