I don’t really know why I’m writing this or if I even have the right to. But maybe because I feel someone might benefit from this or just know that they’re not the only one. This isn’t my story to tell but in fact my friend’s. I wasn’t with her when she was going through it all but she told me afterwards. Despite using protection my friend got to know that she was 4 weeks pregnant, and then she knew what she needed to do. You cannot bring a child into the world when you’re not ready. There are so many factors to consider, emotionally, financially, practically. So she went to a hospital and took the required medicines. I don’t want to go into more details but I just want to let other women know that they have the right to look out for themselves. My friend seemed very calm when she was telling me, and I was honestly very proud of her for handling herself so well. Her motive for telling us was solely to inform us incase we find ourselves, or our friends, in a similar situation. So, this is for someone who’s probably going through this all alone and maybe not feeling the best, just know that you’re doing great and you’ve got a friend in me.
Wonderfully expressed. I know a few people who have been through a similar situation. This post would really help them.
