I don’t know if this is a permanent thing but sometimes I experience such extreme mood swings that I feel it’s not normal and I act in extreme ways and fight about the most little thing with my partner or my parents and I feel guilty afterwards! If someone out there can feel what I’m going through then please help???

Hi there !
A lot of people feel this way and it is common to get a little irritated or moody sometimes. I can understand your feelings…See mood swings are normal but going extreme is not right. Try to control on your emotions. Be expressive in a polite manner. And these times we only hurt are loved ones so be careful in choosing words and actions. Also, Meditation can be of great help.

Talk to somebody who understands you. It really helps.

talk to someone about the things that are bothering you, just let it out and dont think what the other person will think.

If you feel something out of the ordinary in your behaviour, I would suggest seek help immediately. Do not let this fester forlong. Do not listen to anybody who tells you to not approach people to help yourself, not even yourself. You know yourself better than anyone else. You make the call. This is nothing to feel guilty about. If your parents / partner is supportive, have an open discussion with them. They should understand:) No need to panic.

Mood swings happen a lot with me too. But make sure there are no extreme signs in your behaviour that could have repercussions later. Try to think more about your behaviour and what is really making you act in certain ways!

I totally understand. However, just keep a track of the times when you feel like this and try to find out the root cause. If it becomes a routine, it could get difficult. Take care.
