There was this quote I heard in Fruits Basket and it still makes me ponder till present day. It goes like, "They say that we should love ourselves first, before other people learn to love us, but it’s not as easy as it seems. Sometimes, we need someone to accept us and love us first, then we would learn to see ourselves through that person’s eyes and learn to love our-self."

How does it feel to never be respected?! You'd feel like me.

Start loving yourself first & understand what is love.... if you can't love yourself enough then it would be really really hard to love & comfort the person who loves you....! Right?

Self Love

July 24th is celebrated internationally as the Self Care day. It is a play on the date 7/24 signifying that self care is a 24-7 responsibility as individuals. It isn’t something that we do once and then forget about it but rather a daily commitment.

What are some ways in which you all take care of your self to ensure that you show up authentically as yourself every day?

For me self care is starting the day with a morning meditation, some light movement (yoga or Qi Gong), drinking a cup of warm lemon water out on my balcony while getting some fresh morning sunlight.
