I don’t know how my mom feels about me being trans (FtM) because one moment, she is supportive. The next, she yells at me when she finds out the name I want to change my name to. I don’t know what to do.

Hey Eli, well try to think about it from your mom’s point of view. She named you, and she took a lot of thought into that name. If she seems fine with you being trans, but she’s getting upset that you want to change your name, just give her time to come to terms with it all. How long has it been since she found out?
