I don’t have many friends, but I thought my few friends were real and they were enough for me. I have not been to school for more than a week because of the virus and have been unable to meet most of them. Most of the time, I didn’t want to go out or do anything, but when I tried to invite them to go out, they refused, saying that their parents wouldn’t let them go because of the virus. Today I saw a post by one of my friends with my other friends out having fun without me. I have other friends but some of them are out of town and others also say they can’t go out because of the virus. But I no longer believe this excuse. I feel betrayed and lonely and there is no one to talk to. I want to make new friends but the only idea I have is to go to clubs or other mass events but in my country they are all banned because of the virus. The only thing I can do right now is stay home and think how pathetic I am. I would be happy if anyone could give me advice.

The virus isn’t forever,you can go and make plans to go to events in a few months or whenever. I know when you are having a problem things feel like they need to be fixed, but next year will come very soon.
