i can never get help with my mental health because I have arab parents and they don’t believe in such things as deppression and anxiety and if I’m ever just randomly feeling down they always say satan is with me and I need to pray but I really believe that’s not the case and I want to seek help but I cant. I’m tired of myself and regret keeping myself in this world.

Plus unfortunately there is a lot of social stigma attached to mental health…
Dear your parents are also feeling helpless
Let me tell u one thing
U may go for counselling or take therapies but at the end it is ur battle
You have to fight it
You have to deal with ur emotions
Nobody can control ur mind
Medicines can temporarily control
But that is very addictive
So it will be hard
But u are so strong
Pls try
Try a little harder to counsel n cheer urself
Stay happy
Follow ur hobbies…
Explore new things in life
Embrace ur life
You can do it
You will do it
Try yoga
Try chanting
Try meditation
Try to view selfhelp content on youtube or read books

I know, it happens everywhere. We still aren’t okay with having mental breakdowns but consider it something normal and will pass by sort of thing.
What I suggest is, there are helpful resources available here. You can go through them and see which one suits you the best. Or if you want to see the actual problem you have, there are helpful blogs for the same.
