I applied to a MNC all the rounds went well but didn’t got any reply from then after a month I mailed the HR asking feedback to which they said you are shortlisted but due to budgeting exercise position is put on hold and wait till further communication and it’s been two and half months since then what should I do?

Consider yourself rejected, some company’s HR really sucks they do this all the time. I’ve had the same experience multiple times mostly from MNCs, startups are good in this matter
