I am really scared and donāt know what is going to happen in the next few weeks. I havenāt got my UG results yet since the exam happened on Feb. I have four backlogs and results for 2 subjects were out on 16th March in which I failed in a subject š. There is no news from the University as to when they are going to publish the results for other subjects and they have promised a re-exam for the failed subjects. I have to start my visa process by April because of this issue everything is delaying I canāt tell my parents that Iām having backlogs, if I tell them then they wonāt let me pursue my dream of doing my masters in USA. I currently feeling bad, worried, sad, anxious and depressed. I never thought I will fail even after I gave my 100% in that subject. I donāt know whatās going to happen š„ŗ.
Hey! Contact the administration department of your college or your HOD and ask about when they will conduct the exams and explain your situation. Also did you get your admit from the university you want to do your MS? If so, drop a mail explaining the situation. Ofc they are gonna ask for your transcripts and degree certificates etc. before going to visa you should have everything cleared. But classes will start in the month of August right? By then it should be done. Yes, youāll have very less time but give it a try. Also I think you should tell your parents about the backlog. They will be mad at you or not. If not this fall, you can always go next spring. Itās gonna be fine ā¤ļø
Also, ask your seniors who are pursuing MS rn or contact any consultancy for a solution to your problem.
Yep dude! I informed the University I got into and they have given me time. I have tried all measures in my college to make them give students like me a notification regarding the exams but its only the COE of our college delaying the whole process. I hope this phase of my life ends very soon. Iām scared to tell my parents and I am afraid of their response too.š
Yep! youāve done everything you can. But donāt you think at some point you have to tell your parents? Okay, if you are too scared that they will not let you go, may be wait until you hear when the exams can be conducted n when can you get the results. If it can be done by next month, no issues. But the longer you keep it the worse it gets. Also your university gave you time right? No worries. You can attend first two months or so online n once you get visa you can leave. Itāll fall in place. Until then prepare for your exam or get to know more about the courses you want to do after going there and work on it.
