Sharing Our Innermost Thoughts

Since that’s a poem, I’ll reply with my own made up poem.

Life’s filled with irony
You may disagree saying it’s just a fallacy
But hear me out, I hope you’ll see this as a reality
Our happiness can also be our greatest sadness
Our desires can lead to our greatest downfall
That we still love in spite it being too painful
We might resist to our greatest extent
But we’re still prisoners of our own self inflicted pain
We ran in circles, in life’s spinning wheel
Consumed by anxiety, doubts, cowardice and fear
Self blame is all that’s left, depression eating us bit by bit
But what can we do?
We can control our acts but not our emotions
We can resist but we can’t be free from pain
We can think rationally but we feel quite the opposite
What can I do? Tell me what to do.
