I am going to a British school but I’m not British. I have a British accent because I used to live in the UK for a few years. I’m worried about being bullied because I’m from Africa. So should I use my British accent or use my current accent. I don’t want to be seen as different or to be made fun of… what should I do
Dont worry about covering up your accent!

Hi!
Originality is the thing which makes you go in life. Your first and the foremost accent in which you are comfortable should be spoken.
If by being afraid and saying that I don’t want them to consider me different makes no sense. Everyone will judge you the way they want to even if you please them. Rather than choosing to change for them it’s better to be who you are and then make them accept you and they will.
