Maybe you were scarred from them before but continued the friendship just for sake , or they might make fun of you when around and deep down you don’t like that or there can be a jealousy factor too from your side which is not a good indication for a healthy friendship …

They were never your friends, cause if they were, you would not be asking strangers “why you hate your very own friends”.
What they were, are and will be (if you avoid red flags) are companions.
It’s like a whore you recruit for one night’s temporary distraction/pleasure with no emotional attachment.
Or atleast in my case it is.
