How would you describe your sense of self, and how has it evolved over time?
From considering myself as worthless and broken, I’ve started giving myself compassion. There are still days when I go back to feeling this way but I’m trying to see myself as someone who is strong for being there for myself when nobody else was. I think I’m strong for getting back on my feet because I give up almost every day.

That’s really powerful! Thank you for sharing this. It takes courage to be vulnerable. Yes, rightly said if not you then who will take a stand for yourself?
Would you like to share some of your failures and how did you stood up again?
I stood up against the people who thought I wouldn’t make it academically and ended up getting acceptances from almost 5 different renowned universities for my field of study. Also I stood up against the severe bullying that used to happen with me at school after I couldn’t take it any longer. I am a person who’s socially anxious and doesn’t feel comfortable in crowds, loud noises and social situations, but I’ve pushed myself to be able to tolerate things to a certain extent rather than fainting though occasionally I may still get panic attacks. I took a stand when my parents were apprehensive towards my choice of studying law rather than going for sciences. My home life isn’t the best but I deal with it knowing that I am exactly what should matter to me the most even if it’s selfish because when everyone left me alone to deal with myself, someone had to take my side, so I choose to be that someone every day.
