How easy it is to get into a relationship making promises and taking oaths but why is it so difficult to keep them???
Because its easy to say all these things…but difficult to convert the words into actions…thats why

Great question. As much as I’ve seen, people (majority) in love make promises only when they feel an inclination towards happiness “FOR THAT MOMENT”. The strength of a relationship cannot be determined based on momentary happiness. It happens, there will be times when you feel bored atm, arguments, fights etc. And when that happens, people tend to reconsider their decision, what they call “Promises”. No one wanna put effort to keep the relationship going. A good proportion want a peaceful and happy relationship only. Meaning, not fighting, giving up, doubts, etc. Conclusion: Never make promises when you know you can’t keep them. And also based on that momentary situation. In the words of Keamu Reeves (my fav) : If you don’t fight for your love, what kind of love do you have?!

It’s easier said than done! Nowadays relationships, especially love relationships have changed its meaning! It’s limited to one’s desires! Once that desire gets fulfilled the person just doesn’t put any effort anymore!
In the purest form of definition of love, if you truly love then keeping promises becomes effortless!
