how do you know if it is love and not attraction or something else?
Love is only about giving not expecting.will u pass it??
expectations are just inevitable. for e.g. your father loves you. right?still he has some expectations. so saying that it is only about giving and not expecting is slightly vague. we’re humans, not gods, we will have expectations

Well love is not a theory or some kind of thing that show symptoms and also generally we have a list like some behaviour patterns or things which if other person show then we believe they r in love and it these things or ideas comes from those romantic movies which comes in early 2000s even still same ideas demonstrate in cinema and love is slow process so give time and u will understand
exactly but i don’t want to be caught into attraction and stuff so i can only give it time if its real love

With my experience i advice you that give time take things slowly dont assume dont label them try to know there intentions because most of times there is desires that drive peoples love is rare thing actually
When you’re in love you’re also attracted to the person. As for whether it is love or attraction that depends on you. There’s no definite answer here
