How do you define scare. Are we supposed to get scared through the external modalities of life like a job hunt, marriage issues etc. I am here scared every day because of my parents. They have made my life depressing and annoying. They have crossed all their limits in getting me married forcefully. From saying nasty things to physically beating me, I attempted suicide twice two years ago. They are the reason behind my downfall in everything. I stopped talking to them for one year and didn’t even come home. But this time when I come and I have talked to them about my proposed boyfriend for marriage, they have gone all nuts. They threaten me to leave the house and would not speak to my bf because I have rejected their choice of guys. At this point in time, I just need immense willpower and need to be strong to stand at my decision firmly. They even are saying that they won’t allow me to go from here. What should I do? Everyday is so scary and traumatising.
I might say that try seeking some administrative help, even as your parents they don’t have rights to mentally torture you…

Yes, I ll have to go for it if things escalate. But from where do I find the strength to fight them. I fail to stand when in front of them
