You need to evidently prove to your family that your brother’s behaviour really affects you. You may also consult a specialist if you think it’s necessary. And an important thing to add, don’t starve yourself by eating less. If your brother’s behaviour affects your mental health, eating less will affect your physical health. Eat sufficient food, please :)

Misophonia is real and I’ve personally struggled with the same issue with my family and friends as many people are not aware of this condition.
What personally helped me was talking to them and educating them about it. Try it out, it might help them understand you better and not take offence or mock your behaviour 🤗
