Itβs a misconception that working out is a good way to lose weight.
The only reliable way to lose weight is to create a calorie deficit. Avoid sugar and calorie dense foods (yes, sugar includes fruits, jaggery etc.)
Donβt waste money and time on fancy diets and fads. Calorie deficit. Thatβs it.

For me (25 year old guy) I started by cutting out soft drinks completely.
I was drinking way to much coca cola so that felt like a good way to start.
Immediately I had some results.
Try limiting sugar consumption and donβt keep on eating until you are full, what I mean by that is that you should stop eating when you stop being hungry.
I would also try to limit having a snack in-between meals.
