Holding on to anger is like grasping hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; You are the one who gets the burns first. πŸ˜‰

This is so true.
Expressing emotions and letting it out always help.

But if we throw "hot coal " on someone else, other may get burn. What are ways to release anger without hurting anyone.

Well that’s a tricky question but there are ways to do that(exceptions are allowed as there may be situations where the emotion of anger must be used as some people do not understand things easily)

With my personal experience I have the below suggestions:

1) Try n shift this energy of anger to do something productive that gives results like working out or any other physical activity of one’s interest that can be turned into a routine later on.

2) Find out a distraction or an unusual hobby that isn’t done regularly and start working on it whenever feeling angry due to someone or some situation. Like I prefer cooking(specially sweets)…it can be painting, pottery, playing an instrument.

3) Psychology plays an important role here, one needs to see/understand the reasons why the other person behaved in particular manner which can make us angry. There may be situations that aren’t in the other person’s control which made the person do something that wasn’t expected…it’s more of like stepping into the other person’s shoes and understanding their perspective of acting in a particular way. This needs a lot of patience!!

It’s not easy to incorporate any of the above in a single day but this will happen gradually. It’s a well known fact that any action taken in anger may have multiple adverse consequences. So in a nutshell having patience, strategically planning and then taking action (if needed) is the key to tackle this issue!!

Hope tbe above suggestions helpπŸ™πŸ™

Rightly said. When you get into a heated argument with a person you’re concerned about, no matter who wins it, emotional pain always comes your way.
