Me and my ex had a breakup and our family was
involved. So i turned to her mom for emotional support and
told her my side of story that she left me for someone
else.
For that my ex gf called me "cheap, manipulative and told
me why did you tell her about my new bf. Thats our
personal matter."

My aunty is a very strange person.

She’s taken a lot of money from my grandmother over the years. When my grandmother ran out of money she took my cousins over to their other grandparents who took them on an expensive Disney cruise. She came over only at Christmas and birthdays (to collect money for my cousins) oh, and holidays ( as in going to the seaside, not school holidays) it became apparent that money was the motivation here.

My grandma passed away last November after a long illness. My dad and I took care of her and I even requested a deal with my boss that I could have time to go and take care of her. 

After visiting a couple of years ago she was gasping for air and it was apparent that she may be at the end of her life so I contacted my aunty and stayed at my grandmothers to keep an eye on her overnight. My aunty didn’t show up or message back. My grandma explained to me that she came round with one of my cousins and they were both on their phones during the entire visit and as soon as she pointed this out and asked for their attention my aunty and cousin left and didn’t return or call.

My grandma developed dementia and it became important for us to become involved in her healthplans. My auntie would not answer her phone when the drs rang her regarding my grandmother and appeared to want nothing to do with the situation. They contacted me and I dealt with everything medical.

My gandmother could only have 3 keys…herself my dad and aunty who lost her key a few years ago. I still don’t know if she ever found it. There has been money missing but no solid evidence of this. My dad requested help to clear my grandmothers house and felt this was fair as she had taken some expensive items. My dad has a crumbling disk in his back and copd and was forced to deal with this alone (I was not executor of the will so had to stay out) she ignored these messages and when my dad text her about dividing the remaining money she messaged back IMMEDIATELY. 

She stole a ring and Pearl necklace when clearing my grandmothers house and was unaware my dad spotted this. She also immediately went to the jewellery and told my dad she had a friend who was a jeweller that would value it all and sell it. My parents bought her most of her jewellery over the years!!! 

She became obsessed with my grandmas ashes and requested them then did not pick them up for 6 months! I know there were various rules during lockdown but appropriate arrangements would have been made! 

She is also obsessed over some photos I was given and is like a bad smell that won’t go away over this. My mother and I told her I would get her copies and send them. I was even going to pay to use an app and post them to her and she still persists on seeing the originals and harasses me through text messages, Facebook etc... I’d be stupid to trust her because she will NOT bring them back. I reasserted myself and said that my grandma gave me these and that what she is seeing is exactly what I see. I told her to print the photos I sent to her at her own leisure. She wants them just because I have them. My dad deserves 50% not 10% of everything. 

She took note of the jewellery my grandmother was wearing just before she died and demanded this. What a nerve! 

Money was missing around the house, though we have no proof of what happened to it. She was very rude to the carers that came in at the end and who spent their own money on biscuits and a birthday card for my dad. My dad only contacted her as it was obvious the end was near and he asked my grandma if she wanted to say goodbye to my aunty. She made a mess of everything…especially communicating with the staff team and tried to get them to contact her and not me anymore after two years!

I have blocked her because I can’t cope with being contacted out of the blue by her over these photos. I want to grieve and move forward. She is toxic and my blood boils remembering all the things she has done. 


Family

when you are sick and alone. It doesn't feel good. I am not feeling okay. In this crowd alone. Nothing worse feeling than this. No matter how old I am. I still cry and sob like a child. But I have to stop. Pain is pain, No matter how old you become. In fact it just gets deepens as we get older, and as a child we don't even remember much about it later or easily distracted. But later on in adulting. The additional pain of loneliness slips in. Living doesn't feel okay. I don't wanna live. This is unbearable everytime no matter how much we become used to it. Just a magic happen in a blink. I wanna be finished. I am afraid of panic attacks. There is a roommate here. It's a burden and suffocating carrying inside not able to cry.

Hey guys. This is my first post. I thought I felt better with the dawn of new year, but the same old thoughts are flooded in my mind. I feel hopeless and drained. I wish the world was a better place.
