So I have a male friend of mine. We aren’t much close at the start but in this pandemic we became like besties. We used to talk thrice in week and one day while having a conversation with him he confessed me about his love towards me but in return I just said that I never thought about him and me in such broader ways moreover he again asked me to be honest with him and said I wasn’t lieing.
After that he immediately said that it was just a prank. Since I hate pranks I became angry on him , he kept on apologizing and I just forgave him. But from then he slowly started avoiding me and now he is completely avoiding. I don’t even know whatever I did is right or wrong?
He couldn’t bear the pain of ‘no’. I appreciate you told him what you really felt. I have seen people get caged in their own relationship where their is nothing wrong but they feel helpless. You did the right thing
Well… Thank a lot for that. I have been thinking over this since 2 weeks and I was thinking what I did was wrong. I kind of missed talking to him. He was the only boy bestie of mine with whom I speak out my problems.
He will feel embarrassed around you now so if you really want him back than start working on it. And please make this clear that you have no feelings for him.
Why this sounds like a script of friendzoning someone
He really had feelings for you. But now he got awkward since you rejected him. People do it often when got rejected in love. I guess if he is really your friend, he will come back. Try talking to him. Ask him if he and you still can be friends without him having “love feelings” for you. Wait for his response and make decisions accordingly. Also you didn’t do anything wrong. You were just being clear about your feelings with him.

Actually I had a crush on my childhood friend , recently he confessed his love to his crush and she accepted him. Only I know about his relationship moreover he used to share everything about both of them to me. That girl is my kdrama mate… So she too used to share about her love towards him to me. I couldn’t bare myself hearing from both sides. So I am was trying a lot to move on from him… Now knowing that my bestie is having feelings towards me… I am quite confused. After listening everyone’s comments on this… I am quite relieved.
