Hey. So my life always had its ups and downs but I always looked at it in a positive way knowing that i have a lot more to be thankful for than regret. But suddenly last year due to some situations I couldn’t get a college and it changed me completely. It made me into a person I don’t like facing each day. I lost all my self confidence and self love. Started hiding from people so that they don’t talk about my failure. Its been more than an year since and i just dont feel that the damage could ever be undone.

Hey there! I’d just like to say that we get worried about not getting into a college or not being able to figure out what we want to do in life because of “societal pressure” and a certain “timeline” that has been created. We have been conditioned that by certain ages, we need to attain certain things in life. And that is wrong on so many levels. Everyone reaches their milestones at their own times. It’s okay if you finish your education at 25, get your first paycheck at 26, get married at 30 or anything else as a matter of fact. It’s your life and your choice and just because you couldn’t get into a college in a particular year, you shouldn’t fret over it because of the pressure. You’ll make it, I’m sure, give yourself the time. All the best. More power to you!
