hey, so glad to hear from you! fun fact: i also happen to be the community manager. we owe most of our BTS action to the wonderful team of moderators who work round the clock to make this a safe space for everyone. we divide our work into a bunch of shifts so that someone is always around to keep the vibes immaculate. my favourite part about working with the team is our weekly discussions where we get to unwind and discuss what we can do to nurture the lovely now&me community 😊

a moderator does not necessarily have to be a member of the community, but the nature of our work is such that we can’t help but be part of it hehe. one has to go through a series of interviews before they are chosen to be a moderator as the role comes with a lot of responsibilities. regarding the meet-ups, we have a few plans in the pipeline. we’re hoping the logistics work out and we can proceed further. hope this answers all your queries :)

1. okay okay okay, so it is most likely that the lag occurs in the after-hours because of higher user traffic. our trends have shown that people tend to use the app most during the night time, so that adds up. moreover, as dedicated and brilliant as our tech team is, it consists of just a handful of engineers who give their very best to run a gazillion things running smoothly—all at the same time. despite their best efforts, sometimes chaos ensues. it’s only human, isn’t it? big apps with hundreds of engineers routinely struggle with lags and server issues. we’re only starting out with a small reservoir of resources hehe. so please show your support and help us get better at being there for you ☺️
