When you are a pet owner it is inevitable, the majority of the time, that your pet will die before you do. So if and when you have to take your pet to the vet's office for a humane pain-free ending I want you all to know something. You have been the center of their world for THEIR ENTIRE LIVES!!!! They may just be a part of yours but all they know is you as their family. It is a crappy decision/day/time/event every time, there is no argument against that and it is devastating for us as humans to lose them. But please I beg you DO NOT LEAVE THEM. Do not make them transition from life to death in a room of strangers in a place they don't like. The thing you people need to know that most of you don't is that THEY SEARCH FOR YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE THEM BEHIND!!!! They search every face in the room for their loved person. They don't understand why you left them when they are sick, scared, old or dying from cancer and they need your comfort. Don't be a coward because you think it is just too hard for YOU, imagine what they feel as you leave them in their most vulnerable time and people like me are left to try our best every time to comfort them, make them less scared and try to explain why you just couldn't stay. What I feel
An anguish that has spread from my chest to the rest of my body, making it throb until it hurts. It took over me, all of me.
The worst are my legs that no longer want to let me get up, my eyes that only see darkness and my heart, it's fragile, it's more vulnerable than ever.
 My mind is a jumble of deeply sad thoughts, good memories that no longer exist, a sharp nostalgia of when I was happy without knowing it.
I feel alone, I feel like my mind has finally managed to sabotage my body.
My thoughts and actions begin to merge into one.
My mind scares me but it comforts me too, it was probably the only one that didn't leave me.
My dog ​​is with me, I feel good with him, in my agony. He hears me without me having to talk and sees me without having his eyes open, he knows what I'm feeling. He's lying down, sleeping but he seems to tell me that he cares about me, that he likes me. It's a sunny day and my mother is downstairs. He's not sunbathing on the balcony like he usually does, he's stuck in my dark room with me.
I just want this to pass but I don't see how. I’m still aware that saying that there is no possible solution seems absurd and unreasonable, if it is heard by someone, but deep down I feel that I am heading there.
My sadness took on great and deep proportions, as I never thought it could be possible. I blacked out.
I want to stay here forever, in my bed, but without feeling, without seeing and without hearing. I want peace.
And if for that it is necessary to stop being able to feel, I don't care.

2 months ago my aunt's dog gave birth to 4 puppies, my cousins took 2 of them for them and they gave one to a family and they asked me if I wanted to keep the female one and I agreed. I was so happy when my dad told me that I could keep it, I even named her Stella and since my parents are divorced I can't really be here for her everyday to take care of her but when I had time I was making face time with her and I loved seeing her. But without letting me know they gave her to someone else and when I found out that they gave my first puppy I sobbed. Why? well because no one should take someone's first puppy from them and I really needed her for my mental health, they all have one even her son and they kept the one that her son had chosen but they gave my piece of happiness and it hurts a lot to be honest because even though I didn't meet her in person I already loved her and I was here when she was born, I even noted her birthday in my calendar, I even kept my pocket money to buy her some cute toys and for once I also wanted to have a pet to hug since my mom is my pain, I wanted Stella to be my happiness but they took her away from me and that's the most disgusting thing to do to someone who doesn't have a purpose in life, I wanted a reason to live, a real one, I wanted to know and to feel that my pet was waiting for me and I wanted to give her all my love and I was already giving her my love but at least I hope that she will be overjoyed where she is now, I love you Stella never forget me, I only want what's best for you.
