hello everyone …im from India and I’m planning to move to Kingston upon hull, UK for my MSC.my mom and dad took loan of 15lakh which is 15000 pound and this makes me nervous because for a Indian middle class parents this amount is huge. and all the pressure is in my shoulder along with this i feel like i won’t get job after my MSC cuz covid + competition + no talents …talking about me I’m a average kind of guy not extrovert or not introvert no special talent in any field in academic also I’m kind of average ….and above that its new place new people new culture making me overthink and nervous but the main part is I researched about Kingston upon hull it is saddest place in UK along with that there is few number of part time job and i know i won’t get that also and there is no internship regarding my course also .now the thing is I paid the fees now I’m overthinking about my future
Hey… I live overseas… I initially came here to study with the same dilemma… working in an industry which is difficult to get residency but not so bad for jobs…
Its been 6 years… my partner came after me on a loan… we repaid it within 2 years… have an amazing life… good jobs… and planning to buy a house soon…
We also came to a small place and have stuck around because life is comfortable…
In saying all that, I was persistent in paving my way and it worked just fine… not saying it was easy… (including no social life… no crazy spending etc)
was hoping to figure my shit out… and made it happen for the both of us…
Make up your mind from the first day… work harder than ever and you will have stuff sorted… no partying, addictions etc for you for a bit will help 👌

I did a masters in hospo…
On the contrary… my brother did his Masters in UK recently and had to move to another country because of covid, no job, visa expiry… his field was computer designing or something like that… but he only had 3 months after studies to find a job… i hear you get 2 years… post-study now…
