healing from breakup is the worst shit ever. especially if it was one where everything was fine until things completely went out of your control. it’s been 4 months since she broke up with me and i still have palpitations thinking about what she said. she herself was healing from breakup when we first started talking 6 months back. i didnt think i was a rebound because i thought she had moved on. and we had great conversations, a great connection, we talked everyday and everything seemed fine. 2 months back i went to visit her for just the second time in her college. I wanted to surprise her. I reached in the evening and called my friend, Akash to call her so she wouldnt know im here. We rendezvoused to that place only to find out that she was drunk and came with a date who she made out with in front of me, before i could say hi. Akash too was stunned to see this. I couldn’t believe what i was seeing. I was shook. Akash confronted her, asked who the other guy was, she said just a guy she met at the bar. she said she wanted to have fun and so she did. akash asked her about me, she simply said “But he isn’t here, he wouldn’t know”. I wasn’t too far, so i heard what she said. I was furious to hear that. I walked up to her, and said “I know now”. She didnt know how to react. she apologised but said that she would still have done it, since it meant nothing to her, and that it in no way mant she din love me. I can understand her perspective but never be okay with it, i couldnt be with someone who would choose anyone over me, so i broke up. but i cant seem to get over it. it feels like she didnt do anything wrong at the same time everything wrong. healing from this breakup is the worst - How do i deal with this. I want her back, but not anymore? what’s this soul tearing dilemma?
