3am Thoughts

I just got yelled at by my mother again around an hour ago. It was over a very simple thing. She hit me as well. The argument made me think, “What am I doing?”, “I don’t like how I’m living my life right now.”, “Does she understand what she’s doing is wrong? Does she ever regret her actions?”. I’m not suicidal. There might’ve been a time where I’ve had suicidal thoughts. But I don’t want to die. Just not yet. I still want to live, socialize with people, complete my education, get a career, love, etc. I don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t have the guts to tell anyone all of this. Not even my closest friends. So when I found this website, I felt a little spark of hope, thinking that I’ll finally have some people to give me advice, or just tell me to have a good day (with a smiley face). I like to stay positive, but I also want my problems to be heard. There’s so much more I want to say, but for now, I just want someone to tell me, “Have a good day :)”.

I’m so mad at him because he’s ruining his life. He chronically self sabotages and pushes everything good away, including me. He remains in a job that makes him miserable (having panic attacks, barely can eat, etc.) and he stays living a lifestyle that he hates. He thinks he’s incapable of so many things, when in reality he’s capable. I wish he would get help. Our relationship didn’t have to end. 

Im so worried things are going to get so bad to the point where he can’t handle it anymore. Why does he choose to live in misery, when he could have the world?

i developed anxiety 6 or 7 years ago and i have been experiencing anxiety attacks for a few years now. initially i didnt know what all the symptoms meant but later i researched on my own and talked to my friends and eventually i got a vague idea of what i am going through. a couple years ago, i started getting panic attack (palpitations and nausea) and my mom took me to a doctor. he diagnosed me physically and concluded that i might be anemic and i have anxiety. later i told my mom about all the panic attacks and that things have been highly overwhelming for me. i also asked her if we could see a therapist. but she has been very uncertain about that for almost 2 years now. i get random burst of temper and i cry excessively and randomly. i space out a lot and get tired often. but my parents always respond to it by saying something along laziness and short temper. now i am confused about myself. i have tried to explain to them many times on my anxiety issues and that it would be better if we could consult a therapist. and now despite having sweet and understanding parents, i am feeling stranded and helpless.
