so when i was 13 I came out as(bisexual at the time) and my asian mother just assumed that was a lesbian (this was before I came out as trans) and she legit said

and she stared at me with the most utter conFusIon

Coming Out

Nobody knows that I'm bisexual. Even I didn't know until recently. I know that if I come out to my family, they are straight up gonna look at me in a different way. And my sister; well she would either tell this to her best friend or say something in front of my parents. I'm afraid to tell my best friend. I don't know why; because I know she won't judge me or anything. But I'm afraid to tell her. 

It's just been a little over a week since I came to know that I'm attracted to both men and women. It felt weird at first, you know, like when I saw a girl, I was like if I were I boy, I would definitely date her and something. When I realised that I might be bisexual, surprisingly I took it well. That's what mattered to me the most. My opinion. 

This is the first place where I've written about my sexuality. Not even my diary. You are the first person to know about my sexuality. 

And something about being a part of LGBTQIA community, I just wanted to say tha I will never introduce myself as - 'Hey! I'm Mochi! I'm bisexual.' They aren't introducing themselves with their stuff neither will I.

I have an appointment with psychiatrist today. I just hope that I can continue this time and my parents and sibling stop meddling into my mental health matters. For them meditation and sleeping on time will fix my anxiety, severe depression and panic attacks. If only meditation could fix everything we wouldn't be needing psychiatrists in the first place. I'm just tired of explaining them that I hardly have any will left to live. It's true that no one cares until it's too late. Weird place I live in - where you are taken to psychiatrist (or babas, priests etc. when humans become too intelligent for their own good) when you declare that you are gay but you are just making excuses when you have mental health disorders. 

Depression

..awhile ago my parents found out about me being bi and having a gf,  they are trying to be supportive but things were still said and hoping I’ll be with a guy. Sense this is still a sensitive topic I’m too scared to ask about having my own flag now that I’ve discovered I’m actually lesbian. So I’ve asked to for my mother to cut my hair and she said no along with her not wanting me to have a dike haircut. I asked today about me doing it myself and she said no but I did it…not much different and I’m still not happy with the length. What would you do?..

Frustration

Ok so basically I'm non-binary. I'm out to my friends and my sister. This kid at my school knew I was non-binary, and even was non-binary previously. He comes up to my randomly and asks if I have a *women genitalia*. I was uncomfortable and didn't answer, he proceeded to go around and tell EVERYONE IN OUR CLASS that I am a girl and have women genitalia. My teacher overhears this and calls the principals, yes we have 2. They come in take the kid and me out. I am pulled aside and I explain, I didn't say the non-binary thing (cuz im not out yet). I don''t get in trouble, but the kid got suspended. The principal CALLS MY MOM AND DAD. the kid had outed me as non-binary, and now the principal goes and tells my parents this. My mom asks me if I was, and I said that me and my friend had been talking about it but I wasn't. She believed me. My dad comes home and he asks me. I WAS SO SCARED. I still am. If you're not LGBT, you may not get just how terrifying it is to get outed when you're not ready to be. It's like if you were pregnant, but hiding it, and someone went and snitched. Wouldn't you want to kill that person? That's how I feel rn. God I can't breathe. It's so scary.

Sexuality and Society have been opposing forces, that is what my mother told me when I came out to her. It has been a week, since I told her I am gay. She didn't understand it at first. I think she has taken so many days to process it. Like, I have to face so much more than you??? So don't be so dramatic??? The reason I told her was because I wanted to do a photoshoot about queerness with a friend of mine. So he has this idea that he would make these sensual portraits and print them and display them in the most mundane settings and click a picture of that. The idea is to show that sexuality and society coexist, it is not a big deal. And because this photoshoot would be public, I wanted to make sure my mother knew, so she doesn't get shocked when my sneaky relatives find it. My mother is an English professor, so I figured she could be anything byt a bigot. Boy, was I wrong. She was so mean to me. She completely laughed at the idea of the photoshoot. At one point she even said I was too ugly for a boy to be attracted to me. She said ""sexuality and society both are filled with shame"" she isn't wrong but is she right? Not really.....I deserve a better mother. A friend of mine says it is great that my mother doesn't want to kil me. It is small things to be grateful for? ANyway, I am going to get the photoshoot. F*ck her and the society or whatever.

Relationships

"they have an illness, bisexuality isn't a real thing, lesbians make me sick, I know you're straight sweetie, you're a man or woman, all lives matter, Trump 2020." Is what my mom says. "I hate Trump, I don't support the lgbtq+." Is what my dad says. Where am I safe.
