Feeling pretty bad. I lashed out on my mother. We are moving out of our apartment, and it’s been very stressful. I haven’t been in the best state of mind these past months due to unemployment, weight gain, and not meeting new people.
Usually my family always supports me and I support them in their problems. However, it always feels like I’m always supporting everyone a bit more. My mom can be a bit perfectionist and gets very nit picky about anything. We seem to have different views on certain things in the house. It irks me and I typically try to hide it by just staying quiet. However she knows that I get upset and always questions why I get upset. It eventually leads to us fighting verbally and I always feel like the jackass. I told her that she is the reason why I’m always getting angry. And that I only get like this when I’m living with her.

I know this isn’t the reason for my anger, I’m frustrated on the other aspects of my life and this is just a way to funnel it out.
Just thought I’d share.

Hi,
It happens
I also unintentionally vent out all my frustrations on my parents
N then a massive guilt trip starts
I feel like the worst daughter on face of earth…
Relax
N calm down…
It is ok
She is ur mom
She loves u a lot
Pls apologize to her…
Tell her u didnot mean it…
Even she understands what u are going through…

See as per my experiences such outbursts happen
When the feelings are bottled up for too long…
Try to be more assertive…
Try to be more communicative n open…
Just express urself more…
N if u cannot express it or be vocal about it
Just vent out in some way
Write it on ppr n tear it…

Also whenever u feel u are losing ur temper
Pls walkout…
Try to meditate…
Try out yoga
Go on a stroll
If situation is getting hot
Walkout is best…

Try not to utter anything when angry
Pls remain silent…

Don’t worry…
Keep trying u will find a good job too
The pandemic has made things very hard…
It may be bad
But thankfully not worst
This too SHALL PASS
HOLD URSELF TIGHT
CLING TO HOPE…
HAVE FAITH IN URSELF …

Good luck…
Stay safe
Take care

It’s so sad that you’re having such a hard time today. Fortunately, even though the pain you’re suffering today feels unique to you, it actually isn’t-

“What has been is what will be,
And what has been done will be done again;
There is nothing new under the sun.” -Ecclesiastes 1:9

This means that if others in similar or even worse conditions found the help they needed to take control of their lives so can you. Question is, what are you willing to give up to become the very best version of yourself?
