Feeling at ease
But something deep down keeps tumbling.
Did my repugnant feelings just go away
Or have I suppressed them
Covering them up by distracting those feelings
Like smothering a face to cease its breathing?
But you do that for you think breathing be least essential.

But at the end of the day
Your confused
Of the vanishing part of it.
And question yourself
For switching from β€œI” to β€œyou” in the same phrase
Although both referred to you.
Me.
What am I avoiding?

Relief is
Now I am at ease since they’ve left me.

This is such a beautiful poem. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. If I understand you correctly, you are surprised about how your feelings just suddenly went away and you feel at ease?

There have been days when I’ve been really really down, crying all the time. But suddenly, one day comes and I wake up and literally take charge of the world. So it makes me wonder too that where did those feelings of sadness which used to consume me all the time, go?
