My girlfriend broke up with me 3 years ago I’m not over yet, I had a best Freind(female). She had the same story as mine but hers was just an hear back of mine. I knew she would be broken I tried to protect her but couldn’t. Now we don’t talk even if I try to talk she says I am busy and whenever I ask something I’m fine why you want to know etc... and ends the talk. I just met an old friend of mine(girl) I am talking to her but I don’t want to or else I’ll get addicted and end up hurting myself

i've come to the realization that i will never neglect my body's response to certain changes in people's behavior ever again. it turns out that no matter what you feel, it is always right. i have made the mistake in the past, to ignore the feeling in my gut when i felt like someone was pulling away from me. i won't try to think i'm crazy anymore. i won't try to put the blame on my own insecurities. i know now, that whenever i feel a slight discomfort in a change of someone's words, i'll ask; "please tell me what's wrong. what's troubling you? please don't shut out." because it's the only thing i'll think about.

Nothing os working in my favour since a lot of time now. I missed on so many fun things that my friends did without me because i was in another city. They spent the bestest time of our group, and somehow unintentionally i was never in the city ( i visit home in 20-25 days ) during that time because of some college work or something or the other coming up. Being in a close city too i missed out on every single one’s birthday for the whole year.  
And now my birthday is coming up in literally 5 days. Anxiety is kicking in as every year. But i am still always excited to celebrate, and that too went downside when I discussed the plans with my friends. They said they would be able to come only for an hour or so as it is a working day and all of them have jobs. Whereas when they partied on others’ bdays at that time somehow it was the weekend or public holiday or something always.

I kmow these ar elittle things but it affects me alot
I literally have only 5 friends.
One persons bday is coming 10 days after me and they are already planning for a big night that day as it is public holiday on 1st may. How is this fair with me ???
