There are some family issues and my friend want help in it....

The matter is that my family is domestically abusive.. so I cannot stay at this place anymore and my mum has locked up my documents and she has told me if I try to leave then she would find me and hurt me physically 

I've a job that's good enough and I've place to stay 
And I cannot find a proper ngo based women help centre in Bangalore 


I'm staying with my family currently... both are the same 

Do you think that approaching police would be a bad choice?
