Do I find solace in the fact the only boy I truly loved and had as a best friend over the course of 4 years chose to pretend I don’t exist to a girl he’s now dating because he could not explain our relationship or that our bond was so unique and in order to move on with our lives, we had to leave each other behind. Either way, it’s been nearly a year since we last spoke properly and it still hurts.
