No one needs to change themselves, if the “daughter” likes the boy and wants to date him it’s all fine if she has fallen in love with him for who he is. If she didn’t then it’s not even worth it to change yourself.
If the person likes you for who you are and what your true personality is than it will be called as love.

The post has nothing to do with daughter liking someone or changing for her, Its about changing for Yourself.
“Imagine your daughter is dating someone like you” it means are you contend enough with what you are? Have you gotten your life together yet? That you would be happy with your daughter dating someone like you.
If this post didn’t really strike a chord with someone or make them doubt themselves whether or not their daughter would be happy if she dated a guy like them ,it means they need to change.
