Sharing Our Innermost Thoughts

I told my mom that I love her brain and the way she thinks. I got a hug and a kiss and a good feeling in my heart.

This reminded me of a story -
When I was in 2nd grade, I told our very mean bus driver that probably should’ve been fired that I liked her hair. And I swear, she was abnormally nice to every other kid. Instead of yelling at us to shut up when we joked, she laughed.
A compliment, just a small one, can change someone’s day.

One of my mother’s friend cooking some halwa and sent it to me. It was too low and confused and I complimented her for making such a tasty dish, she had a bright smile.
I compliment my parents each day for being so wonderful

I also complimented my friend .
It does not just make the other person. Feel appreciated but also makes me feel purposeful and happy inside too

In my opinion,complimenting a person who never expected a compliment from you is a surpirisjbsurprising thing…so I never complimented my brother on his amazing English vocabulary and always tried to figure out mistakes but this time when he wrote something so good and impressive, after reading it I couldn’t resist myself from complimenting him on his way of portraying things in such a unique n amazing way …he was shocked to me hear this from me and happy too because he expected this to hear for so long and finally the day came …🙄

Complimented my roomate today on her shirt. She seemed very happy and thankful about it.

Complimented my cousin today for doing great every day. She was very happy and asked me why I said it all of sudden. I told her that I wanted to and appreciate her for doing things.

complimented my big sister today. She’s got light brown skin and hair that she recently cut shorter. I’ve always wished I was as pretty as her. Anyway the top she was wearing was perfect on her skin tone and she seemed very happy to hear it :)

I complimented my brother for his personality. I often try to be a perfect person like him. Not talking about his knowledge alone, but also his commendable responsible nature, and a true human heart. He’s older to me by 4 years, but I believe that he’s much more wiser than this age gap, in making justice to his responsibilities as a son than I do as a daughter. I always shout at him, and regret it later, but I never appreciated him. But today, much to his surprise, I did it. Also, I always appreciate people for their cooking skills. That’s because since I myself don’t cook, no matter how the food is, I respect those who cook for me. And appreciation is my way of expressing my respect for them, and their food. And, you were right, those compliments brought about an arc of smile on their faces :)

Today I complemented my mom about her cooking skills after we made chicken noodles together. She dint fall for “You are the best mamma” so I complemented her about her cooking skills and she instantly smiled . All the love to mamma and her food 🥰🥰

I told my friend how helpful that too with a quite clear heart she has been with me ❤,how she always puts an effort to understand me…along with being able to show me the right direction at times and for being straight forward with me…helping me realise a different perspective at times…❤ she was touched I felt❤ and she said love you more ❤ and was like "u can share anything that’s troubling u and ask help when you need,okay"🥺❤
Also I complemented my mother for how she has been working hard in her new process at office. There wasn’t much of a reaction but I guess she felt appreciated and motivated I guess ❤
