Confused…not temporarily. But in life.
I am in a very unhappy marraige,since 8 years.
Went to parents for support ,2 years back but was asked to adjust.
Now they realised i was right.
But only things is 5 yo kid.parents say if u want to separate ,forget kid, since financially i am not capable to look after.
Or if i want kid,i need to adjust.
But i m not loved ,not respected, even as a friend.
I have everything here, all material things which we need for surviving.
And no its not a mid life crisis.
That’s a difficult situation. Maybe you can start tutoring or something or find a small job enough to support child and then move out.

I am doing it…in few months i will be working.but my parenst say…if your child grows and of he questions you that why you kept him away from,his otherwise luxurious life…how will you answer.
That’s a ridiculous question. Your child should know what your difficulty was. He/she should grow to value people more than luxury.

Then here a mother will sacrifice her happiness for her child!!! It always happens in india!! I don’t know when it’ll be changed!!

I feel the same.
But still i have lost the capato take a decision and i believing that i wil be doing wrong if i do that…not to forget he is a mildly special kid. Not physically but a hyperactive kid who is adviced to take regular therapies till the age of 12

Really tough situation you’re facing!! Be strong!! And try to be independent so that you can think about separation!!!
File a case for joined custody, If u decided to leave ur kid.
If u don’t leave, it’ll destroy u mentally. Remember 1 thing you will be your child’s Mother and no one can change that. Ur kid still/will always love u, no matter what.
After that, try to make yourself financially strong enough.
It will help.
I know it way too Difficult but the best option for you and your kid, so your kid don’t have to watch u suffer.
