Can someone fake the feelings, care, emotions, handling drama and everything that is of a relationship without being in a relationship? Does that person really love her or it was just a joke or timepass for him?

Sometime fear of commitment.they unknowingly do everything but when time came for tag they get afraid.
He is now in USA, today was his flight, I always told him that you are not going to talk to me when you will be there and everytime he said that he will talk to me no matter what, he will take out time for me, he loves me, he told me that and our scne was very different, I had this feeling that he loves me but sometimes didn’t get that. I cried for him even when I have this thing with me that I don’t cry for any boy. I’m in love with him, pls tell me something to get over it
