It starts with acknowledgement of the fact that you are not perfect and that you have faults, like everyone.
Then, comes how you fill those faults. Well, you must add something positive to compensate those. Contemplate about a particular fault and look for alternatives.
Letβs take an example, suppose you are someone who get anxious easily , basically you are higher in neuroticism. To compensate with that, add knowledge to your arsenal. When you would be having knowledge, you will be able to negotiate with your subconscious mind with reasons to not feel anxious often. Well, you may ask, how will that work? Well, when you will observe how you react to different circumstances, you will consciously look for patterns and stimulus. When you able to identify that, you will remind, unconditionally, that this is the triggering stimulus and then you will yourself put your mind to put efforts on calming you down rather than reacting to the stimulus.
