Being competitive sucks. It’s not easy always masking your feelings of excessive competitiveness especially in upfront situations. I’ve always been very competitive and I’ve come to realise that it’s a result of my upbringing, I have always been taught to become better and to “defeat” him or her, and it’s somehow been ingrained in my brain. Now that I’ve realised the true destructive power of being competitive, I’m trying really hard to let go of this and consider my own growth the only purpose of my life.
Yes, being confident for your competitive skills is good but being over confident is bad. Take your competition in a positive way instead of aim of being defeating others.
Defeating others won’t mean you are success. So, just focus your confidence for growth purposes in life.
