Just made the account after seeing that Ripen collab thing on Instagram. My first reaction after reading about Now&Me was “oh, so it’s like a dating app plus reddit” and yes, that’s not the right way to see things 😭
I’ve always struggled with social anxiety and making friends. Even though I became accustomed to the loneliness after a while, the lockdown really made the realise the need for interacting with peers and being bottle up at home for so long was super toxic. I started using dating apps to counter this but ended up wasting a lot of time there because of obvious reasons. I genuinely wanted to be friends and talk to people about music, movies or anything I’m up to without the sexual implications and other expectations. But you can’t approach random people from the same sex in that way right? It’s like that episode from Always Sunny in Philadelphia idk how to explain this. 
This app feels exactly like the idea I had in my mind so I’m happy to discover this. So yeah, thanks to the founder for coming up with this . Looking forward to more interacting with like minded people.

Hey, I'm like skiping school it's been 3 months and I'm still skipping..due to mental health and physical health issues.. these 3 month were like hell for me and next month I got exam and I have to go from Monday anyhow.. the last day in school before skipping I had a terrible panic attack and I fainted away since that day some how it became like a phobia whenever I'm trying to go to school I get scared and sad like an actual serious fear I feel stressed and I get anxiety  even when my friends or classmates msg me instantly I get sad like anything related to school makes me feel stressed and scared  even when I look at my school uniform same things happen...I don't know what to do I feel like I'm trapped in a loop I'm trying to get out but I failing

Let it sink. Hiding and Healing are two different things. Let’s not run and hide from our triggers, but learn how to outgrow them and heal. Let’s work on becoming able to move through it and feel, fully.
