We should really go to the police now… it feels like this anxiety dude is harassing a lot of people in this group… (bad joke… hahaha sorry)
I don’t know if this helps but, I’ve realized two things that have really helped to cope with this anxiety dude:
1. There are things in this world that naturally make human beings feel anxious: like career, life and work stuff. Man, those things are hard. It’s okay to feel anxious, honestly, I think it would be weird if you didn’t feel anxious about this future stuff… Certainly that anxiety signals fear of the unknown, but it also means that there is possibility to change, to choose, to reinvent. when there is absolutely no possible choice, we feel resignation, not anxiety. So yes, you will feel anxious, try to find the possibility of good change within that.
2. You are way more incredible than you think you are. Just, check this out: everything everyone else in the world can do, you can do it while feeling stupidly anxious. Going to a party… sure, people can do that, but can they do it after having had a panic attack… I don’t think so. The point is, you are able to do whatever you can do in this life, and anxiety is not a cripple, but a companion. Sometimes, it is harder to think we have to do stuff free of anxiety, fear, anger, sadness, depression, etc… than just doing stuff WITH all those things.
