Am I the only one who wants to listen to sad songs, old gazal and cry for no reason? Though I am not in any relationship, my life is going with the flow with all normal ups and downs, I am happy. But I really wish to cry once for no reason. I want to cry my heart out but no one can actually hear me do so.

It’s okay to cry sometimes without reason. Just let your emotions flow 🌸
Avi @avi
Tryin’ that every single day 🙃

Dear avi,
I’m going to start by saying this: I don’t fit the sterotype of a white girl in America. I listen to rock music (I made a post on how it was affecting me), specifically Queen and this band called My Chemical Romance. Most bands and singers have at least one love song on their back, and these aren’t any exception. I don’t listen to Queen all the time, but MCR is daily. I also listen to Melanie Martinez. Her new album isn’t too good, but I think Crybaby is amazing.
Those singers have deep, hardhitting music. And it’s catchy. So you have no reason to feel shame for that.
Crying is just a natrual part of life. Certain songs make me cry, of course. But I know it’s a sign of weakness. I only cry around people I’ve known for at least a year. And those that I trust.
Often times, people I know will bring me down so low I think I’m in the Underworld. What I do then is write in a free verse poem style. Kind of like poetry. I always do it before bed.
Best of luck. ✌🏾

Thanks @johnthejohn! Sometimes, I write too, but most of those lines are in Hindi language. Maybe sometime we can listen to each other’s words :)
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
Hindi is fine! I write in English, it’s the only language I’m fluent in, but that’s okay! I’d be honored to share some!

Hi!
I too feel the same way man. It’s not important that something has happened that’s why we like listening to these type of songs. We do get hit by some songs and want to cry our heart out for absolutely no reason but but there is always something maybe the tiniest thing that rushes through our mind for which we feel this way. And it’s completely okay.
It feels great after crying out, right? I atleast feel great!
Avi @avi
Hi @st1199, I agree with you. But it happens when you are unable to do so. I try really hard to put all my emotions out, but often fail to. Maybe one day, one day I’ll be able to…
Simran @st1199
Just talk to somebody then, maybe they will be able to help you and understand you much better than me.
It’s literally me but I’m not happy
Avi @avi
Hey! Why so? Please share…
Idk I just don’t feel good and this lockdown has made it worse.
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
Lockdown has crumbled my soul into a piece of despair and sadness. It then tossed it in a trash can. In other words, lockdown is equivalent to a thousand porta - potties on fire.
I can totally relate to you. It just made me hate people around me.
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
Same. It’s just evil.
How do you make something right when you have made it so wrong? You can never go back?
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
What’s going on? I try to change it. Or drop it. Because I’m weak. But I don’t know how to give you guidance until you post something a little less vague.
It’s dialogue from one of my favorite series but it hits hard.
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
Oh. It’s pretty hard hitting, yeah.
Yes I’d like to suggest you this series bojack horseman
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
I looked it up and watched a few episodes. I’m hooked.
Glad you liked it. It’s so humorous as well as depressing.
