Am I the only one who wants to listen to sad songs, old gazal and cry for no reason? Though I am not in any relationship, my life is going with the flow with all normal ups and downs, I am happy. But I really wish to cry once for no reason. I want to cry my heart out but no one can actually hear me do so.

Itโs okay to cry sometimes without reason. Just let your emotions flow ๐ธ

Tryinโ that every single day ๐

Dear avi,
Iโm going to start by saying this: I donโt fit the sterotype of a white girl in America. I listen to rock music (I made a post on how it was affecting me), specifically Queen and this band called My Chemical Romance. Most bands and singers have at least one love song on their back, and these arenโt any exception. I donโt listen to Queen all the time, but MCR is daily. I also listen to Melanie Martinez. Her new album isnโt too good, but I think Crybaby is amazing.
Those singers have deep, hardhitting music. And itโs catchy. So you have no reason to feel shame for that.
Crying is just a natrual part of life. Certain songs make me cry, of course. But I know itโs a sign of weakness. I only cry around people Iโve known for at least a year. And those that I trust.
Often times, people I know will bring me down so low I think Iโm in the Underworld. What I do then is write in a free verse poem style. Kind of like poetry. I always do it before bed.
Best of luck. โ๐พ

Thanks @johnthejohn! Sometimes, I write too, but most of those lines are in Hindi language. Maybe sometime we can listen to each otherโs words :)
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
Hindi is fine! I write in English, itโs the only language Iโm fluent in, but thatโs okay! Iโd be honored to share some!

Hi!
I too feel the same way man. Itโs not important that something has happened thatโs why we like listening to these type of songs. We do get hit by some songs and want to cry our heart out for absolutely no reason but but there is always something maybe the tiniest thing that rushes through our mind for which we feel this way. And itโs completely okay.
It feels great after crying out, right? I atleast feel great!
Avi @avi
Hi @st1199, I agree with you. But it happens when you are unable to do so. I try really hard to put all my emotions out, but often fail to. Maybe one day, one day Iโll be able toโฆ
Simran @st1199
Just talk to somebody then, maybe they will be able to help you and understand you much better than me.
Itโs literally me but Iโm not happy
Avi @avi
Hey! Why so? Please shareโฆ
Idk I just donโt feel good and this lockdown has made it worse.
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
Lockdown has crumbled my soul into a piece of despair and sadness. It then tossed it in a trash can. In other words, lockdown is equivalent to a thousand porta - potties on fire.
I can totally relate to you. It just made me hate people around me.
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
Same. Itโs just evil.
How do you make something right when you have made it so wrong? You can never go back?
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
Whatโs going on? I try to change it. Or drop it. Because Iโm weak. But I donโt know how to give you guidance until you post something a little less vague.
Itโs dialogue from one of my favorite series but it hits hard.
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
Oh. Itโs pretty hard hitting, yeah.
Yes Iโd like to suggest you this series bojack horseman
Ana Banach @johnthejohn
I looked it up and watched a few episodes. Iโm hooked.
Glad you liked it. Itโs so humorous as well as depressing.
