Because looks fade.over a certain period of time what remains is the bonding of you with that person bonding matters ,matching vibes matter,feeling happy because of them matters because looks gonna go away so why to select someone on that basis

The feeling of keeping someone else above me is love for me …its the feeling I have for my parents and brother. Obviously, I won’t keep a beauty queen above me and my preferences …it has to be someone special.
Lol, it good to hear that you won’t prioritise anybody just like that. You know what’s surprising for me, 2 years back I dated a guy and he probably left me bcoz he thought I didn’t look good enough. But in these 2 years I underwent a major glow up and now he texts me saying I regret leaving you. And thats just bcoz ‘good looks’. What assholes these people can be I mean look at society standards. Terrific!
lol…it’s a pretty recurring theme in lives of many people, it’s not totally fault of that guy I believe …sometimes people succumb to peer pressure over how their girlfriend will be perceived by friends I wish he might have apologised instead of hitting on you again. BUT these things happen and are sought of meant to happen to help people learn from mistakes, evolve and move on.
Really? If a guy truly loves someone, he won’t care about what his friends or other people say about that girl. He’s not dating her to look cool in front of his friends.
maybe he was dating to look cool 😌😌… I wish true love was so easy to find… Anyways I myself think many young guys date just to look cool, just like how it is in school life, no one is serious yet everybody keeps dating couples at a higher pedestal.

I found it little bit strange that we judge other on looks and in this time we can easily make our looks better by using make up or other things and yeah looks comes handy maybe in arrange marriages but i think most important is character and nature and looks maybe 2 i think because we can enhance looks easily with various products but we cant amend in nature and character
Most of them do this but exceptions are always there. It’s true that looks can be enhanced using products today and yet the running is still for outer appearance.

I think it is human desire to possess beautiful things and same with happens with outer beauty because inner beauty that need time to see and there is plenty other options to explore then why someone stay with them so it is all depends on priorities too
And some people lack patience to see that inner beauty.

Yeah inner beauty took time to reveal itself and once it open then it remains same and so need patience but no one willing to explore this path because it also comes with struggles

It is hard to teach them in 20s we were driven by emotions and in 30s we take that burden so there need some sense and thinking which is hard because people follow what they see that the reason there is suffering and emotional breakdown or broken hearts

So yeah this world will work like a chaotic mess and it provides opportunities but also trick most of us to fall under those beauty standard so yes some will rise and most will fall
