मुझें खुद से बेहतर समझने लगें थे वो
बस यही एक इल्जाम लगाने लगें थे वो
हमें कहाँ मालूम था कि फ़रेब होता क्या हैं

कभी हुए थे वादे उम्रभर साथ चलने के
फिर ठहरने का फरमान दिखाने लगे थे वो
चोट जो मिली सो तो खानी ही थी हमें
अब मरहम कि जगह नमक लगाने लगें थे वो
गेरों का गैर ,आज वो अपना मेरा नहीं हैं
ऐ खुदा बाकी सब तो ठीक है इस महफ़िल में
ये कफ़न मेरा नहीं है
