New Delhi, 07 June 2021 — Now&Me, a revolutionary mental health startup, is pleased to announce that it has successfully secured $1 million in seed funding from renowned venture capital firms Saama Capital and Whiteboard Capital.

Now&Me is a prominent mental health startup that offers a safe space for individuals to share their thoughts and feelings while receiving support and guidance from the community. By leveraging the power of technology and fostering a sense of connection, Now&Me aims to break the stigma surrounding mental health and improve the overall well-being of its users.

With this funding, Now&Me plans to expand the team, develop smart-quality products, and focus on community-building efforts to reach a larger and wider audience. The company will focus on developing innovative features that further promote mental health conversations, including improved content recommendations and access to expert resources.

In 2019, Bani Singh and Drishti Gupta found this company to spark conversations and build lifelong connections in the space of mental health. In a press release, the founders collectively stated that — "Mental health concerns affect almost 1 billion people globally. Tackling a problem as colossal as that required us to go where no one had ever even thought of going before. In fact, Now&Me has been and continues to be an instrumental solution to the rising mental health concerns owing to the COVID-19 pandemic."

Anshu Prasher, Whiteboard Capital, said, "Though the last year has brought a lot of attention to mental health issues, most of the conversation around mental health has been centred around specialist help or support groups, which is typically a sign of serious underlying conditions."

He added, "At Now&Me, Drishti and Bani are working towards normalizing peer group conversations around mental health at a much earlier stage by building a safe, open, and free community, hopefully helping people share without any fear of being judged. We are excited to be a part of this mission to help reduce serious mental health issues and wish the team luck on their journey ahead."

Founders Bani Singh and Drishti Gupta expressed gratitude for the support of Saama Capital and Whiteboard Capital, saying, "We are thrilled to have Saama Capital and Whiteboard Capital as our partners in this journey. This funding will allow us to expand our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health challenges. With the backing of these esteemed investors, we are confident in our ability to scale our platform and create a positive impact on a global scale."

Now&Me has experienced immense growth and gained substantial traction since its inception. The platform has attracted a diverse user base, with thousands of individuals finding solace and help from the community. Now&Me's innovative approach, coupled with the funding from Saama Capital and Whiteboard Capital, positions the startup for further expansion and growth.
