Why my parents think that if a girl is wearing short clothes, abusing, roaming around with boys alone is ‘characterless’ and does not belong to the so-called “good family”.
I get so fucking annoyed whenever they say that look at this girl she is wearing covered clothes and still looking so pretty.
I can’t even explain why this is wrong because you know you can’t answer your parents back and prove them wrong in an Indian household.
How can I make them understand this? How can I stop them from judging other girls?!!
this is a very common mentality among Indian parents. its just that, that is how they are bought up. i am not supporting them but next time just ask this one question to them if wearing short clothes makes us “characterless” then why do we praise SHILABALIKAS or APSARAS. 😅

it is one of the ways “MEN” came up with to carry on their control culture over women and see, after all these years women too support it that is why it is very crucial to make people aware about things which is not possible in this existing system of education at least in my opinion where even in schools girls are slut shammed for various reasons by teachers…there is a lotttt to be corrected…
