Why do i always feel protective for my friend(Girl).
She gets annoyed even though I don’t overdo it but merely asking if she has safely reached home or asking her to take uber instead of auto irks her off.
Is this normal or I should mend my ways.
Protecting her from others or fighting for her comes naturally to me, it’s not that I am doing it for ulterior motives.

I have a friend (girl) nd we both are over possessed about each other. Even she’s in a relationship and I was also in one. But some things happened and now I’m ignoring her and she’s angry with me. So… the reason why I’m ignoring her is that after my break up I had a realisation that she was always more special to me than my girlfriend. N I’m ignoring her because i want her to be happy with her boyfriend and should not be conflicted about whom to give priority ( me or him).
so that’s that

I feel the same I try to tell them what I am thinking about the situation to help them because she asked then she blows up because she said that I don’t give her space

Everytime I do anything for her, like requesting her to not to use public transport or auto, she’ll just not listen. Instead She would say mean things like ‘dont try to be my dad’. This is not something I intentionally do, this comes very natural to me, if we are walking on the roadside I always keep myself on the traffic side of the road. Or holding her hands while crossing the road.
Why can’t she understand that I am not doing it to get laid. I am like this with everyone.
